Liverpool, 22 October 2026: Aposto, the event operations software provider, will work with the EFL from early 2027 to deliver CrowdVista™, a league-wide intelligence sharing network for matchday operations.
Safety and security teams at clubs often work from different formats and different data, so useful information can stay within individual stadiums. CrowdVista™ gives authorised safety personnel one consistent, efficient way to monitor and review matchday operational data. The aim is to improve the quality of reporting across the League and support informed decisions on safety, security and operational planning.
The EFL expects clubs to benefit from:
- Incident insights from across the League, to help pre-empt and prevent matchday issues
- Data and evidence to support safety planning and resource allocation
- A consistent format for recording and managing safety and security information
- Trends and patterns across incidents and operational activity
- Better collaboration and information sharing between clubs and the League.
“We built CrowdVista™ because we could see a clear need for clubs to be able to share information and easily access insight and analysis on safety issues. Now fans of all 72 EFL club should be safer as a result and that’s what matters to us.”
“Safe and successful matchdays rely on good information sharing and effective collaboration. Through our partnership with Aposto, Clubs will be better equipped to manage intelligence, identify emerging risks and make more informed operational decisions. We're pleased to be working together to support a more connected approach to safety and security across the League.”
Aposto will work closely with the EFL and its clubs on the rollout ahead of the 2027 launch.
